Ferme du Château, managed by Bruno and Cathy Graf in the canton of Vaud, has been nominated for the Swiss National Climate Award (Prix Climat). The award recognises initiatives in Switzerland that make a significant contribution to climate protection and sustainable development.
As a certified biocyclic vegan farm, Ferme du Château demonstrates how productive agriculture can operate successfully without livestock while enhancing soil health and biodiversity.
By nominating Ferme du Château, the Prix Climat jury has acknowledged the important contribution that biocyclic vegan farming makes to climate protection — in particular through its livestock-free, plant-based approach.
More information about the nomination can be found on the Prix Climat website, and details about the farm are available on the Biocyclic Vegan Network website.
Public online voting for the award is now open and can be accessed here.
The winners will be announced at the national climate summit on 29 November 2025 in Landquart.
We warmly congratulate Bruno and Cathy Graf on this nomination and wish them every success in the award process.
