ESC Summer Camps 2026 at Permaculture Park Steyerberg, Germany, June and August 2026

Join Us for Hands-On Learning in Biocyclic Vegan Permaculture

In 2026, two European Solidarity Corps (ESC) Summer Camps will take place at the Permakulturpark am Lebensgarten Steyerberg (Germany). The camps offer an opportunity to gain practical experience in biocyclic vegan agriculture in the context of permaculture.

June Summer Camp – Registration Open

The first ESC Summer Camp will take place in June 2026. Registration is now open.

The activities will be carried out at the Permakulturpark, which:

  • is certified according to the Biocyclic Vegan Standard

  • is involved in the development of Biocyclic Humus Soil

  • serves as a practical example of plant-based organic agriculture combined with permaculture principles

The programme focuses on linking ecological farming practices with soil regeneration and sustainable land use.

Eligibility

The ESC Summer Camp is open to participants who:

  • are 18 to 30 years old

  • reside in countries participating in the European Solidarity Corps programme (including EU Member States and partner countries)

Programme Focus

Participants will:

  • gain practical experience in biocyclic vegan agriculture

  • learn about soil fertility and humus-building processes

  • explore permaculture approaches to land use

  • work collaboratively in an international group setting

Second Summer Camp in August

A second ESC Summer Camp is planned for the last two weeks of August 2026.

  • Registration is expected to open in May 2026

  • Those interested may send a short message to: ahg@biocyclic-vegan.org to be informed when registration becomes available.

Further Information

The summer camps provide an opportunity to engage with practical aspects of sustainable agriculture, deepen knowledge of vegan organic farming, and contribute to ongoing work in soil regeneration and ecological land management.

A similar format was implemented in 2025, when an ESC summer camp was combined with a seminar on biocyclic vegan agriculture. The programme brought together practical fieldwork and structured learning, with positive feedback from participants. A short report can be found under the link below.

The ESC summer camp is organised by Permakulturpark am Lebensgarten Steyerberg (PaLS). Further information on PaLS, including its role as a certified biocyclic vegan operation and its activities in the development of Biocyclic Humus Soil, is available under the link below.
