Farming Peacefully and Sustainably with the Earth

How Biocyclic Vegan Agriculture Points to New Paths towards Non-Violence in Agriculture

An article written by members of the Biocyclic Vegan Agriculture team has been published in the special 30th-anniversary edition of Growing Green International.

The article explores how organic agriculture can be combined with the principle of minimising violence as far as possible. It introduces Biocyclic Vegan Agriculture as an approach to organic farming that avoids both animal husbandry and inputs of animal origin, relying instead on plant-based nutrient cycles, humus building and the promotion of biodiversity.

Alongside its agroecological foundations, the article also examines the ethical dimension of agricultural practice and the perspectives this can offer for a more sustainable and future-oriented agriculture.
