Georgios has been working in agriculture for 13 years and has been a convinced organic farmer from the beginning. In his village Limnatis, he was the first to get involved in organic farming. Other farmers in the village followed his example and also switched to organic farming.
For two years, Georgios has been working according to the Biocyclic Vegan Standard without the use of manure or any other products of animal origin. Together with his wife Stella he grows vegetables for the local organic shops as well as various fruits such as Jaffa oranges, grapes, pomegranates, almonds, figs and nectarines. He also produces olives of the Koroneiki variety. A particular speciality of Georgios is the traditional Cypriot almond paste with rose water.
