Georgios Georgiou is dedicated to agriculture and has been deeply committed to organic farming from the very beginning. In his village of Limnatis, he was among the pioneers who introduced organic cultivation, inspiring other farmers in the region to follow his example and transition to more sustainable practices.
Today, Georgios cultivates his land according to the Biocyclic Vegan Standard, entirely without the use of manure or any other inputs of animal origin. Together with his wife Stella, he produces high-quality vegetables for local organic shops as well as a diverse range of fruits, including Jaffa oranges, grapes, pomegranates, almonds, figs and nectarines. He also grows olives of the Koroneiki variety, known for their exceptional quality. A particular specialty of Georgios is the traditional Cypriot almond paste with rose water, crafted with great care and respect for local heritage.
Georgios’ farm has been certified according to the Biocyclic Vegan Standard since 2016.
Georgios Georgiou’s farm is located in the village of Limnatis not far from Limassol.
